Northern Spirit Scholarship Program

Offering University and Institute Scholarships for northern Saskatchewan Students.

Northern Enterprise Fund Inc. ("NEFI") is established to promote entrepreneurial spirit in northern Saskatchewan, NEFI is proud to offer the:

Northern Spirit Scholarship Program:

  • Ten (10) University/Institute Scholarships

Candidates:

  • Must be permanent residents of northern Saskatchewan and part of the Northern Administrative District (NAD).
  • Must be applying to a University or Institute for a course of studies which, in the opinion of the selection committee will contribute to the future development of northern Saskatchewan.
  • Must submit application and color photo no later than June 30.

Scholarships

  • $2,500 Annually
  • Renewals require annual applications and achievement of at least a "B" average in most recent year completed.

Criteria

  • Applications will be judged on their relationship to the general mandate of NEFI, the academic record of the applicant, and the contribution to the future development of northern Saskatchewan.
  • A selection committee appointed by NEFI will choose successful applicants.

Payments

  • Will be made in two equal installments during the academic year.
